The StressCafe is a space created by a group of scientists and research practitioners to interact with the community and industry to reduce stress at work. It is a joint production of the School of Electrical & Information Engineering, and the School of Psychology, Social Work and Social Policy's Centre for Applied Psychological Research, at the University of South Australia in Adelaide.

Professor Dollard

Professor Maureen Dollard email

Maureen is Director of the Centre for Applied Psychological Research and is Foundation Director of the Work and Stress Research Group at the University of South Australia. She is an occupational health psychologist and member of the College of Organisational Psychology of the Australian Psychological Association. Since 2000 she has won 13 nationally competitive research grants, 8 as lead chief investigator, including 4 ARC Discovery Grants, and 6 ARC Linkage, together totaling nearly $3 million. 

 

Professor Nafalski

Professor Nafalski was the former Head of School of Electrical and Information Engineering at the University of South Australia. Other posts include Senior Lecturer at Curtin University of Technology (Perth, Western Australia); and Head of School at the Lublin University of Technology, Poland. He has numerous awards bestowed upon by Engineers Australia (2003); the University of South Australia Chancellery (2002), and numerous UNESCO Engineering Awards.

Professor Winefield

Professor Tony Winefield email

Professor Winefield was the inaugural Director of the Centre for Applied Psychological Research (2003-2006), a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society, the academic member of the State Psychological Board and Chair of its Registration Committee. He represents the Board on the Council of Psychological Registration Boards, and, in 2006, was elected as a Director of APAC (Australian Psychology Accreditation Council Limited). From 2000-2004 he was the University's representative on Channel 7.
